TREK E-Caliber 9.9 XX1 AXS Gen 2 2022
A lightweight, entertaining, and quick carbon e-MTB is the E-Caliber 9.9 XX1 AXS. It has the same race-ready suspension technology as Supercaliber and is built to ride like a conventional cross-country bike. You get a spec packed with high-end components and a boost from the svelte and understated Fazua drive system without adding weight.
You want to ride as hard as you can on a lightweight e-MTB that tears up singletrack like a conventional XC bike, but that also has a discreet boost function for when you need it. Additionally, you want a parts package that is outstanding, loaded with carbon fiber and cutting-edge technology like our IsoStrut shock and a completely wireless electronic drive train.
Trek’s proprietary lightest IsoStrut FOX Factory shock, a 120 mm RockShox SID Ultimate fork with Charger Race Day damper, and a lightweight, complete OCLV Mountain Carbon frame with 60 mm of travel. A handlebar-mounted Fazua Ride Remote FX controller, a Fazua Ride Trail 50 motor, and a 250 Wh battery that can assist at speeds up to 20 mph (25 km/h in Europe) when turned on and create no drag when turned off. A wireless electronic drivetrain from SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS, a dropper from FOX Transfer SL, and carbon wheels from Kovee XXX 30.
Our top-of-the-line E-Caliber is quick, light, and built to tear. It actually rides like a Supercaliber, an XC race bike. Up until the point at which you decide you need a little boost to climb a climb or complete a few additional circuits.

Quick and effective
When you need more power, Fazua’s lightweight drive system provides it, but when you don’t, the bike rides and feels more like a standard bike. When you turn it off or pass the maximum degree of assist, you won’t notice much drag or resistance. A smartphone app that works with the system enables you to customize your ride and check the battery level.
Intelligent trial software
The E-Caliber has innovative Fazua software dubbed BLACK PEPPER that gives higher power over a larger cadence range, enables you to customize your user preferences, and enables the motor to react promptly as soon as you begin to pedal.
Transportable drive pack
When you don’t need the boost, you can save 2.9 kg/6.4 lb by removing the motor and drive pack. The down tube can be used as additional storage with the accompanying cover.
IsoStrut
The E-Caliber uses the same cutting-edge IsoStrut rear suspension as the Supercaliber, which won the World Cup. You get integrated rear travel of 60 mm, right? Without the weight or flex of conventional full suspension, the ideal amount of comfort and traction.

The carbon used in Trek’s mountain-specific products is tougher thanks to special materials and lay-up techniques, cutting-edge engineering, and rigorous testing standards.
